The Finger Crystal Staff started as a simple question: what happens when you put crystal balls on a finger staff?

The answer is a prop that plays exactly like a finger staff — same length, same weight class, same fingertip rolls and balances — but with PMMA crystal balls at both ends that refract, reflect, and bend light with every movement. Full-sized contact staffs have long used weighted crystal ends for this reason. This is that idea, scaled down to your fingers.

Hold it like a staff and spin it. Hold it like a baton and isolate the tips. The crystal ends don't just add light — they add a second movement language. Each ball can be locked in space while the shaft moves around it, producing the same floating isolation effect as a contact juggling ball, built into something you can already spin.

Designed by Ian Jenson, the carbon fibre shaft keeps the response sharp with zero flex. The crystal ends add just enough weight to make the momentum work for you, not against you.
